Dave Calderon 1974 Quarterback in the inaugural game. Broke Jim Plunkett records at James Lick. All-American at James Lick High and at Gavilan College. Played both football and baseball at Cal State, Fullerton. Played with L.A. Rams and N.Y. Giants scout team before going on to play CFL in Canada. Currently mentors high school and college quarterbacks
Pepe Hinojosa 1974 Teammate of Doug Cosbie from St. Francis high school. Played defensive back in the inaugural game. Played 4 years of baseball for Stanford (2 time all-conference selection). Currently residing in Los Altos with wife and 3 daughters. Currently a sales executive for a software company.
Mark Sole 1974 A Saratoga alum who played alongside Otis Page in the inaugural game. Played football at BYU and Hawaii, graduated in 1979.
Harry Hall 1975 A late replacement from Cubberly High School as a QB at 5'-11" and 175lbs. Played one year for Foothill College.
Mitch Bigger 1977 Played for the South in the 3rd All-Star Game

Dave Burns 1977 Played in the game with my teammate Kevin Smith of Campbell High School. Made the team as a Fullback/Linebacker and was moved to DE for the game. I have fond memories of that time as it was my last game in pads. I joined the United States Navy in October of 1977 and served 4 years on board the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea CV-43.

I have been married to my best friend, Kelley for 29 years and we have one son, Michael who is engaged to Christina. I am a Superintendent for San Jose Water Company and have been with them for 26 years.

Phil Manoukian 1977 Played football two years at Foothill College where he was an All-NorCal JC linebacker. He later played rugby at Cal Poly SLO. He is a Pop Warner coach and also coaches football at Healdsburg High School.
Rafael Santini 1983 Graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School. Played linebacker for San Jose City College and San Jose State.

Chuck Konrad 1984 Played for Miami University, led the conference in punting for two years, 1st team All Conference two years, AP All American two years. A brief attempt to play for the Cleveland Browns of the NFL and then Wilcox varsity football asst. coach for about seven years. I continue to work with local placekickers and punters in high school and college. Presently, President and CEO of
Norm Brown 1985 Captain of the All Star South team from Oak Grove High School. Norm went on to win the 1986 Junior College National Championship at San Jose City College and awarded the Most Valuable Defensive Player in California and the JC Bay Area Athlete of the year in 1986. He played in a bowl game at San Jose State. He went on to win the 1995 World Bowl Championship for the Frankfurt Galaxy in the NFL Europe. He also played in the Arena Football League on four different teams. He currently is the head coach at Independence High School.
Jason Macadaeg 1986 Chosen for the All Star game but had to report to Marine Corps boot camp the same week of the game
Albert King 1987 Graduated from Gunderson High School and played for the South All Stars.
Bill Rainey 1987 Team captain and starting free safety at Santa Clara University from 1988-1991. I continue to try to make the game each year.

Terry Smith 1989 After the All Star game, I played 3 years at CSU-Hayward (1989-91) and led the team in tds my Freshman year. I am currently teaching in Social Science and Head Varsity Football Coach at Tennyson High School in Hayward.

Tom Sotelo 1992 I played at Del Mar High School and continued my education/football career at San Jose State University. While at SJSU, I was a 3 year starter on the defensive line. After my senior season I was voted to the "Big-West" All Conference Team, and was voted our teams Most Valuable Player. I graduated from SJSU in 1996, and now am a Business Development Manager for an engineering services company in San Jose.
Matt Scharrenberg 1995 Coached in the 1999 game for the South squad with my brother Eric and the rest of the Valley Christian staff. I played one year of football out of college at Menlo in 1996. I am currently the Defensive Co-ordinator at Saint Francis for the Varsity team.

Dan Yoder 2001 Dan graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He is currently a design engineer at Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant in Avila Beach, CA. .

Matt Griffith 2002 Matt attended Branham High School. He attended West Valley College (2002-2003); received a full scholarship to Northern State University (2004-2006); and is currently playing professional football in the Arena Football League for the Central Valley Coyotes, Fresno, CA.
Greg Lovely 2002 Currently defensive back/wide receiver coach at Oak Grove High School. Played on scholarship at BYU and played Arena Football thru 2008.
Brad Yanez 2002 Attended and played football at Menlo College
Erik Ames 2003 Erik Ames played at University of Nevada as a receiver. He will receive his PhD in Biology in 2013 from UC Davis and has been working in cancer research.
Alex Asi 2003 Alex Asi formerly Alex Fa'agai attended Foothill College for 2 years and is currently on a full scholarship to play defensive tackle at Arizona State
Edward James 2003 Attended Foothill College for 2 years and is currently a walk-on at Arizona State
Mike Manoukian 2003 Mike played football one year at UC Davis. He just graduated from UC Davis. He currently coaches offensive and defensive line for the Freshman football at St. Francis. He is currently attending graduate school at University of San Francisco and will obtain a Master's degree in Sports Management. As part of his program at USF, he has an internship with the San Jose Sabercats. Mike is currently playing for the South Bay Stallions in the Northern California Football League.
Andrew Ravadge 2003 Played one year at guard position at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Transferred to the University of Missouri-Rolla where he is playing on a full scholarship as their starting center. Plans to stay on as a Grad Assistant after completing his Senior year.

Mike Day 2004 Played one short season due to injuries at San Jose City College and transferred to UCLA. Football may or may not be in the future.
Kevin Jurovich 2004 Kevin is a Valley Christian alumni who caught a 78-yard touchdown pass from Hobbs of Willow Glen for the South All Stars in 2004. He earned a scholarship to San Jose State University and plays safety for Coach Tomey's Spartan defense.
Chip Lewis 2004 Attending and playing at Chapman University in Orange County. Chip started at defensive end as a true freshman and was voted "Newcomer of the Year" by his teammates.
Leebo Pomele 2004 One of three brothers who played in this game - Shawn Lepisi in 2003, Leebo, and Havelock Pomele in 2008.

Matt Ravadge 2005 Started and played at DeAnza College for 2 years at all 5 OL positions and as long snapper. Earned a full scholarship to Chadron University, Nebraska where he will be playing on the Offensive Line as right tackle.
Patick Walsh 2005 All League for two years at Foothill College and won a share of the NorCal Championship and is now in his senior year at Sacramento State as a two year starter at OG.
Jason D'Amico 2006 Played two years at Cabrillo College. While at Cabrillo we won two conference championships and won the California Shiners Capitol bowl. I am now playing in Kansas on scholarship at Sterling College.
Tim Danser 2006 Tim is at Brown preparing for the football season.
Augie Lagemann 2006 Played football four years at Pomona College, captain in 2008 and 2009. Earned 1st team all conference for offensive line in 2009. Spent 6 months studying Arctic Ecology at the Institute of Oceanography in 2011. Presently working on a dental degree at the UC San Francisco School of Dentistry.
David Martini 2007 David has been named to the 2011 Menís Collegiate All-America Rugby team.
Jon Meyer 2009 Jon spent 2 years at Foothill JC where he earned 1st Team All American honors, 1st Team All State honors, 1st Team All Conference honors and Team Most Valuable Offensive Player. Jon signed a scholarship with San Jose State and is currently competing for playing time at Offensive Tackle.
Michael Santini 2009 Michael received a scholarship to play football for Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo and is majoring in kinesiology.
Chris Tozer 2009 Chris attended Foothill College for 2 years. He was twice All Nor Cal Conference, 1st Team and Team Captain. He is now playing Football at Boise State University.
Sean Mulcahy 2012 Three year starter for Pomona-Pitzer. "Top Rookie of the Year" in 2012 and named pre-season All American Candidate in 2014
Jourdan Soares 2012 WR for San Jose State. Leading receiver with 81 yards and 1 touchdown in the All Star game.
