Mercury News Comments:
Miller was a key factor in a turnaround season for the Lancers, who reached the Open Division title game but saw their late comeback fall short against Bellarmine. Miller completed 61 percent of his passes for 2156 yards and 25 touchdowns, all school records. A leader on the field and in the locker room, Miller was at his best in the playoffs, throwing for 712 yards in three games. The senior excelled in running the spread offense and also was a strong runner with six rushing touchdowns.
