This is a picture of Jeff when he played in the 21st Annual Charlie Wedemeyer All Star Football Game. He graduated from Live Oak in 1995 and attended the University of Hawaii.

Millard Hampton Silver Creek - Member of the U.S. Olympic team in Montreal, Canada. Gold medal winner in the USA 400-meter relay and silver medalist in the 200-meter event
Otis Page Saratoga - Played for USC and on three winning USC Rose Bowl teams
Pete Pele Archbishop Mitty - Played for UCLA and in the Rose Bowl, defeating Ohio State
Steve Bauer Los Gatos - Played in the Rose Bowl for the University of Washington. Coached the Santa Clara County All Star Game in 1985 and 1987
Rick Foley Leigh - Played for Santa Clara University and went on to play professional baseball
Dave Calderon James Lick - Quarterback in the inaugural game. Broke Jim Pl;unkett records at James Lick. All-American at James Lick and Gavilan College. Played both football and baseball at Cal State, Fullerton. Played with L.A. Rams N.F.L. and N.Y. Giants scout team before going on to play in the C.F.L. in Canada. Currently mentors high school and college quarterbacks.

Mitch Bigger Willow Glen - Played 2 years at Cabrillo College. All League and Team MVP both seasons; First Team All-State and First Team JC All-American in 1979; played 2 years at Cal State Hayward, All League both seasons, team MVP senior season, Kodak Little All American team in 1981; holds the school single season QB sack record at 22, set in 1981; Coached for 14 seasons at Willow Glen High School.

Phil Manoukian Los Altos - 1977 Played football two years at Foothill College where he was an All-NorCal JC linebacker. He later played rugby at Cal Poly SLO. He is a Pop Warner coach and also coaches football at Healdsburg High School.

Carl Monroe Overfelt - Played with the NFL San Francisco 49ers. Carl scored a touchdown in the 1985 Super Bowl against Miami.

Lindsay Meggs Saratoga - Went on to play professional baseball
Mike Holmgren Oak Grove Football Coach and a member of the 1980 All Star game coaching staff. Mike played for USC and the St. Louis Cardinals. He was the Offensive Coordinator for Brigham Young University and the NFL San Francisco 49ers, then joined the NFL Green Bay Packers as Head Coach and later with the Seattle Seahawks.
Rich Martig Bellarmine - Played college football and Baseball at Santa Clara University. Then tried out for the Seattle Seahawks and played baseball in the Oakland A’s organization.
1981
Ken Caminiti Leigh - Played baseball at San Jose State, and started as the 1997 National League All-Star third baseman for the San Diego Padres.
John Faylor Archbishop Mitty - Played for Santa Clara University and the NFL San Francisco 49ers
Kurt Heinrich Saratoga - Played at UOP.
John Hendy Wilcox - Played for Long Beach State and was selected to pley in the East-West Shrine game and the Senior Bowl. Went on to play for the San Diego Chargers and was named to the 1985 NFL All-Rookie Team.
Jacque Robinson San Jose - Played in the Rose Bowl for the University of Washington and was voted Most Valuable Player of the game
Kevin Tanner Saratoga - Played at Santa Clara University. He is now a coach at Saratoga
Rick Worman Saratoga - Played for the University of Nevada-Reno, and the Canadian Football League.
1982
Dave Diaz-Infante Bellarmine - Played at San Jose State; played for the San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL; also played in the CFL, XFL and WLAF.
Erik Howard Bellarmine - Joined the NFL New York Giants. Played in the 1987 Super Bowl, winning over Denver.
1983
Greg Calcagno Saint Francis - Played for Santa Clara University
Randy Kirk Bellarmine - Played for the San Francisco 49ers as the squad's long snapper.
Rafael Santini Lincoln - Played linebacker for San Jose City College and San Jose State.
1984
Bill Haselman Saratoga - Played baseball at UCLA. Played for the Boston Red Sox, and was now a catcher for the Texas Rangers.
Chuck Konrad Wilcox - Played for Miami University, led the conference in punting for two years, 1st team All Conference two years, AP All American two years. A brief attempt to play for the Cleveland Browns of the NFL and then Wilcox varsity football asst. coach for about seven years. I continue to work with local placekickers and punters in high school and college. Presently, President and CEO of bronzeback.net.
Eric Volta Santa Clara - Played for Stanford University
1985
Norm Brown Oak Grove - 1985 Captain of the All Star South team, won the 1986 Junior College National Championship at San Jose City College and awarded the Most Valuable Defensive Player in California and the JC Bay Area Athlete of the year in 1986. Played in a bowl game at San Jose State, won the 1995 World Bowl Championship for the Frankfurt Galaxy in the NFL Europe, played in the AFL on four different teams. Currently head coach at Independence High School.
Todd Mayo Los Gatos - Joined the Montreal Expos baseball team
Paul Marcy Homestead - Played for Santa Clara University
1986
Tim Ryan Oak Grove - Played in the Rose Bowl for USC, and joined the NFL Chicago Bears, now a football radio/TV color analyst.
Joe Marinello Cupertino - Played football at Sonoma State and went on to coach varsity football at Cupertino High
Keith Erickson Homestead - Pitched for the Baltimore Orioles; pitched a no-hitter and had a 20-win season
1987
Bill Rainey Oak Grove - 1987 Team Captain and starting free safety at Santa Clara University from 1988-1991. Continues to try to make the game each year.
1988
Joe Farwell Los Gatos - Played for the University of Oregon
Jeff Garcia Gilroy - Played at San Jose State University, then in the the Canadian Football League. He's played quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders.
1989
Brent Evans Oak Grove - Played for San Jose State University.
Lee Evans Was on the coaching staff for this All Star game and later became head coach at Oak Grove High, . This was the first All Star game with a father coaching his son.
Dan Lloyd Co-Head Coach and was a local star at James Lick and later joined the University of Washington and the NFL New York Giants.
Terry Smith Oak Grove - Played 3 years at CSU-Hayward (1989-91) and led the team in TDs Freshman year. Taught Social Science and head varsity football coach at Tennyson High School in Hayward.
1990
Ryan Hancock Monta Vista - Played for Brigham Young University
1992
Darren Fisk Los Gatos - Started at fullback for the University of Colorado. Taken in the 1998 draft by the Atlanta Falcons.
Joe Cattolico Leigh - Played for Princeton University. Now the head coach at Independence.
Butch Cattolico Coached this All Star game and was the second father to coach his son.
Tom Sotelo Del Mar - Played for SJSU as a 3-year starter on the defensive line. Voted to the "Big-West" All Conference Team and Team's MVP in senior year. Now Business Development for an engineering services company in San Jose.
1993
Brad Sanfilippo Los Gatos - Played baseball for the University of California at Davis.
1994
Pat Tillman Leland - Started as outside linebacker for Arizona State University. In 1997, he was an All Pac-10 player and the Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Year. He was a starting defensive back for the Arizona Cardinals, but left professional football to join the military and was killed in Afghanistan.
Jeff Menold Lynbrook - Male Athlete of the Year at Linfield College in Oregon after an All-Conference Senior season as the third baseman on the baseball team. He worked as a wide receivers coach for the football team in the fall of 1997.
1995
Gus Farwell Los Gatos - Was the back-up quarterback for Arizona State in the 1997 Rose Bowl

Tully Banta-Cain Fremont - Played for UC Berkeley; played four seasons as a linebacker for the New England Patriots, with 43 tackles and 5.5 sacks in one season; and the San Francisco 49ers.
